We offer scholarships to support graduating seniors as they transition into higher education and pursue their God-designed future
Genesis IQ Foundation, Inc. Scholarship
The GenesisIQ Foundation INC Scholarship empowers graduating seniors of Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School to step into their God-designed future with the same spirit of wisdom and creation found in Genesis. Grounded in our cardinal principles—Intelligence, Innovation, and Impact—we champion students who think boldly, build creatively, and lead with purpose.
Disbursement
The total scholarship award of $1,500 will be disbursed in two installments. $750 at the beginning of the first academic semester, upon verification of enrollment. The remaining $750 at the conclusion of the first semester, contingent upon successful completion and satisfactory academic progress.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Currently enrolled as a senior at Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School
- Registered or planning to register for Fall 2026 as a full-time student at an accredited post-secondary institution
- Minimum GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale
Required Submissions
- Genesis IQ Foundation, Inc. Scholarship Application
- 3 signed letters of recommendation: 2 from school officials (teachers, counselors, administrators, etc.) and 1 from an external source (outside of SRMHS)
- Most recent unofficial high school transcript
- 1–2 page essay (typed, double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman, one-inch margins)
- A copy of college acceptance letter from College Admissions Office
G.E. Watson Scholarship of Excellence
The G.E. Watson Scholarship of Excellence recognizes outstanding academic achievement and community leadership. This prestigious award supports students who embody excellence in every facet of their educational journey.

The GenesisIQ Foundation INC Scholarship empowers graduating seniors to step into their God-designed future with the same spirit of wisdom and creation found in Genesis.
We invest in emerging leaders ready to transform their calling into real-world influence rooted in faith, excellence, and action. Scholarship Funds will not be awarded until receipt of acceptance letter into a College or University and will be dispersed when Fall Semester begins.
Award Components
One student, selected by a committee, will receive a $1,500.00 Scholarship towards the 2026–2027 academic school year. Failure to meet enrollment or academic requirements may result in delay or forfeiture of the remaining funds.

A selection committee will review all applications and notify the award recipient
